Advice for Tomorrow

Always wear sunscreen.
Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
Exercise at least 30 minutes a day, three times a week.
Eat more fruits and veggies.
Cut down on processed food.

These are all healthy living tidbits I’m sure you have heard before to help you live a healthier life. They seem easy enough to follow, right? But how many have you actually committed to your daily routine?

More importantly than these tips, simply living to be happy and for yourself should be the most important thing. If you do not life your life with purpose, then what’s the point? What’s your why and why do you get out of bed in the morning?

Positivity and positive living starts from within and beings with yourself.  Find what makes you happy and what you want out of life.

Purge negative thoughts. This may be hard one for most people, I know it is for myself sometimes. Know that when you have a negative thought or feeling if you can do something about, then do it. And if you can’t do anything about it, get over it and move on. Know that this negativity will pass and half of the time it wasn’t even that much of an issue. I have to constantly tell myself this. Recognizing this has saved me from many disagreements, stressful situations and uncomfortable conversations.

Instead of focusing on the negativity in your life, be thankful for what you do have and for others in your life.

Take risks while you can and be thankful for excitement in your life; you never know when it will run out.
Do something that scares you everyday, you’ll be thankful for the experiences later.
Find your true love, it’s out there, you just have to search for them and don’t give up.
Have fun everyday and smile, a lot.
Make mistakes, it’s ok. How else will you will learn?
Know that in the end everything will work out the way it was intended.
